I recently picked up a 16 Meg DRAM card for my 755cx at a cost of $235.00
used. It's a PNY Electronics unit, and carries a lifetime warranty. If you
look around you may be able to find a similar deal since IBM seems finally
to be supporting NT for ThinkPads and DSP, so folks are selling off 16 Meg
cards in favor or 24 or 32 Meg units.

My CX now has a total of 24 Megs, up from 12. (With 12 megs, the P-75 CX
system ran slower than my did my old 486-50 based 360ce with 20 Megs, which
my brother now owns.) The performance difference is definately significant.
I advise that it is best to buy the most RAM you can possibly afford, so
that if you need the RAM later, you won't have to sell off a relatively
small card to make room for a larger one.

By the way... if anyone wants an old Kingston 4 Meg card, I'll let it go
*really* cheap. (Perhaps someone is interested in gutting one of these to
make a larger card themselves.) By the same token, I may be interested in
trying this, so if you have a 4 Meg card you don't want, let me know.
