I phoned PC's Compleat for thinkpad memory prices. The have an offer for
$390 for a 16 MB Module for the 701, um forgot the manufacturer, but a pretty
wellknown one. They also have an offer for the same type of module from a
company named "simple" for $300, but which is due in one months time.

Is there anyone under the $390 or even under the $300 offer ?
And how much do you pay for a second battery in the US ?
