Rick, I get a similar problem on my 701C occasionally. Finally I
realized it had something to do with when I plug it in or unplug the
adapter during the same session. For some reason it thinks I'm using the
modem or some such.
The solution for me has been to either *leave* it plugged in (or
unplugged) and/or reboot it when I get that message.
PITA, I know, but I don't know of another way.
