Thinkpad 750Cs Software Audio -- Game Compatibility ???

Does anyone have any experience or hints for running PC-DOS
simulation games on Thinkpad 750Cs?  I am mostly interested 
in running the following simulations:

    o  Ace of the Deep      -- Sierra
    o  Flight Simulator 5.1 -- MicroSoft
    o  US Navy Fighters     -- Electronic Arts

p.s.  Does anyone know how to run Microsoft Flight Simulator
5.1 (CDROM version) after loading over Adaptec PCMCIA SlimSCSI
adaptor from Toshiba CDROM drive?  What do you need to do to
run Flight Simulator without the CDROM drive attached?
