I'm not sure I can help your exact situation but I have had a Jaz
*running* on a 755CX. The caveat, however, was this was on a ThinkPad
with OS/2 Warp Server. If a JAZ can run on that setup, it will run on
nearly anything.
This was with an 3COM etherlink III PCMCIA card and the JAZ running via a
SCSI "Shuttle Tech" parallel-to-SCSI II cable.
I know what you're thinking.
The director of creative services came into my office the morning I was
due to fly out and setup a temporary network in a hotel suite 2000 miles
away. She showed me the JAZ drive and said "you have to get this working
on the network because this is what we are going to use."
No, they didn't bother asking first. That's why my configuration was so
screwy.
