I have one. Used it for a long time to charge the thinkpad while driving.
And, in fact, I am now selling it.
Hold onto your britches though - I'm asking $80 till someone convinces me
that's unreasonable. I paid roughly $145 for it, which I thought was
unreasonable, but I think that's still the asking price. I'm willing to
listen to competitive offers, but below a certain point it's not worth
unloading it - I still have the pad, but have little need to run it in
the car anymore.
Anyone not concerned about the IBM name might, as someone else mentioned,
look into an AC inverter. Be careful when you buy it to make sure it can
handle the ampere draw - some of those inverters are not up to the 1A
that the adaptor pulls at max load. They do make them, and probably for
less than $80, to be perfectly honest.
