Win95 keeps wanting to access A: on the thinkpad.

     Hello,
     
     There are two machines with win95. A Thinkpad 750C that will try to 
     read drive A: on bootup and sometimes when start is selected.  A Dell 
     486DX2 desktop does not do this.
     
     Does anyone know why Win95 wants to read Drive A: on the thinkpad? 
     There is no obvious control to disable it.
