Is this a clique? No one gave me the secret handshake!

I might be paranoid, but it seems of the few questions I have asked here,
only one was responded to (and that was directed to me personally by one of
the least prolific members of this list!)
Is there some little secret code I've missed?  (Or do I perhaps have to
indicate I'm on my third laptop this year before getting any attention? <g>)
It seems that the posts that garner the most attention are ones that start
with a question but dissolve into volleys of personal opinion that have
little to do with the original focus.
No doubt I've started something now.
