I can't help you with the CD-Rom but I can with the ram. 
My company has done business with many members of this 
group. I dist. MPM GoldenRam they are an approved 
aftermarket source for TP memory. What that means is that 
there are no third party chips or boards used and you are 
covered by IBM'S warranty if you use there products. The 
16MB for your TP will cost you $175.00. Warranty is 
lifetime.
