This is a request to those TP 560 Owners and those who know a lot
about the machine:
The TFT screen is 800x600, right? What's the max color depth you
can have at that resolution? 64K colors?
Any quirks about the machine I should know about it, especially with
respect to Win '95 (I presume it has all the drivers you need?)? Does
anyone know about the performance difference between the P120 model & the
P133? Is it significant at all? I'd like the larger hard drive, but
frankly I'd like to have a bigger one than the 1.08 GB included on the P133,
so I'm considering just getting the less expensive P120 with the 810, living
with its size (I can do that right now) and then putting in a larger hard
drive at a later time.
I currently am rather happy with my 701C, but my wife needs a
notebook due to her work having *really* screwed-up computers. The choice
was to either get another relatively inexpensive machine akin to my 701C or
give her mine and use the opportunity to upgrade. I'm a big fan of the
smaller form factors of the 701 and (I think) the 560, so I figured the
bigger screen & faster CPU of the 560 would be a nice way to go.
Thoughts? (Or if you have or know of one to be sold...I don't mind
gently used)
