We could be seeing a fire sale of sorts. Are manufacturers getting their last hurrah out of old fab lines before a new generation of larger chips hits the market? I know that working 64Mbit and 256 Mbit memory chips were made over a year ago, and 1 Gbit chips are in the works.(this from press releases of the IBM/Thoshiba/Siemens joint projects) I have no idea when they will make their way into consumer market modules. -Don Perley
