a linux question somewhat off this topic: anyone gotten the 'red hat live' linux working on a thinkpad 755ce? idea is you run it from your cd-rom drive, with 3 diskettes (boot, ram and /home). don't have the time or inclination at the moment to risk an attempt at a hdd install so this seemed like a good way to play with it a bit. but, finding the appropriate boot image and support for my new media bus toaster pcmcia card is proving a bit problematical. most info available seems to be oriented to a hdd install. any suggestions welcomed, and as usual much appreciated, regards, al Alden S Klovdahl / alden.klovdahl@anu.edu.au / fax: +61 62 49 05 25 Sociology Arts / Australian National University / Canberra ACT Australia 0200
