Bryan I will try to address some of your questions. The first, How long?  I
did it with floppys, which took less than an hour.  It took me another 3 or
4 hours to get all the other stuff loaded that the "laptop" install doesn't
do.  Things like the Dialer which I needed because I surf.  The install goes
fast for this kind of stuff.  It's just a matter of figuring out what you
don't have and where to find it.  On the 701c I use the IR port for printing
to my laser.  The drivers you can get from www.microsoft.com.  The driver is
called W95IR.EXE.  It's self installing.

I had no experience with the upgrade version before.  I have done 2 installs
with the OEM version which wants a blank disk to start out.

If you want Win 95, start out at IBM.  Download this file TPWIN95.TXT.  I
also downloaded and ran WIN95SET.EXE.  TPWIN95.TXT tells all about what you
need to do.

As far as the installation went, perfect.  Not a single problem...
