There was an article on moving entire OS's (DOS/Win, WIn95, WinNT,
OS/2, Linux) in the last edition of the (recommendable, IMHO) German
c'T - Magazine.
I see you're not from or near Germany, and I don't know about your
command of the German language, but it might help you...
What I'm trying to say is I am very busy at the moment and I just
moved, so I can't really get at my stuff, and I don't remember 
their solution offhand... 
They also have a Webserver with some english pages at http://www.ix.de/ct

If you don't have a better answer in a week or so, email me again...
