        "slow" has GOT to be an understatement!  8 MB of RAM with Win 95 is
slow!  I can't imagine trying to live with 4 MB!

        I read somewhere that Win 95 in the raw--no fancy stuff added
in--actually takes up 14 MB of RAM (or RAM/Swapfile combo) just to boot up
and sit there.  The difference between 8 MB and 16 MB is like night &
day--and if you load a few programs simultaneously, the difference between
16 and some higher number (24 to 32 or more) is similar (though not as
pronounced).
