Perhaps when he typed "silly" he misspelled "beyond my limited scope of 
experience, and therefore not relevant to me, but sufficiently intersting 
to motivate me to give what _I_ would consider a correct answer. YMMV." 
It's an easy mistake. [hee hee hee]

Now on to MY question, I query whether there is a software package that 
can do what you want AND intercept packets. I ask this not because I have 
seen such a thing, but because I would like to do the same on my TP. 
[running Linux 2.0.0]. Mabey there is a 'supervisor' mode in Linux or 
somthing? Anybody know?
