Axel,
Gee, I'm really sorry. I even included an apology in my stupid
auto reply. No, "everyone" will not recieve one of these stupid
auto replies. I have managed to make a list that includes everybody
whom I know to be likely to send mail to this list (that is, everybody
whom I could find as having done it the last time I was traveling)
and have made my auto reply facility ignore mail from those senders.
I guess I missed you, but I'll put you on that list immediately.
I DO NOT understand why it is so infuriating to so many people to
occassionally get one of these auto replies, but it's not apparently
irritating at all for the entire list to be deluged with complaints
about them.
I guess there's something about the "open" world that I just don't
get.
Anyway, Axel, rest assure that you will be added to my list of people
whose email to the thinkpad list is ignored.
Again, I am sorry. I'm also very happy that everybody else on this
list has mailers that are fully conformant with all of the relevant
Internet standards, and I apologize for being the last person to
exist the stone ages.
Sigh...
Jim

Does this mean that everyone will recieve
"Thank you, recieved" notes with attached
digests until this guy's back?
This one goes "against" the whole list, but
I've recently been getting a bunch of
delivery failure reports, too, when sending
to the list.
Argghhhh! People, get your eMailers under
control!
