Re: Thinkpad 760ED freezing problems



Tom,

That was the same response I got from IBM tech support when I called 
them last month. Since I was running both WFW 3.11, Win95 and now WinNT 
4.0 on the machine, the person whom I spoke with didn't know how I could 
do that initially and then turn around to say those are unsupported 
setup.

However, the tech I spoke with at Easyserv said this is quite a common 
problem with the system board which they had a hard time keeping in 
stock. My system board was supposed to be replaced but I'm still having 
the same problem which made me wonder if it was replaced after all.
