Hi everyone,
Thanks for your help about 'batteries' information a few weeks ago.
Using the quoted times from users than from IBM has given a better idea
what to expect from my trusty ThinkPad.
I'm a new subscriber... so here's my blurb about my ThinkPad! It's a
12Mb 750Cs with ancient IBM Data/Fax Modem and Xircom Ethernet Adapter.
And, runs Windows 95 quite comfortably! I use mainly during teaching in
the primary school classroom... so, it gets knocked about a bit!
In fact, brought a new battery for 120 UK Sterling the other week. Cor,
it has improved my life with the 750Cs (it doesn't drain so fast now!).
But IBM's quote for 190 UK Sterling at some places I've enquired is
absolutely absurd!
Anyway, can anyone tell me why I don't get the 'Suspend' function in the
'Start' menu in Windows 95? I know I can suspend quite easily using 'fn
and 4', but why doesn't it appear in the menu thingy!
Is anything to do with the weird APM in the 750 series?
Oh yes... my swap battery option doesn't work (fn and 11). Any ideas?
Many thanks...
