Re: Where to get NT4.0 gfx WD90C24A driver
Well... After *exhaustively* searching all the IBM sites I can find
(including all the ones that Lars and others have suggested), the only
thing I could find that remotely seems to be what we're all looking for is
a file called vf75xwnt.exe, and it's accompanying .doc file. The problem is
that these drivers are for NT 3.51 *only*. Lars - do you recall if the file
you had was specific to NT 4.0 beta, or did you use a rollback 3.51 driver?
Also, I am trying to extract this .exe so I can at least test it on my
machine - and I have NO IDEA how to do that. I have one .EXE file, and when
I try to run it, it tells me...
C:\HOME\rickt\Thinkpad Stuff>dir *exe
Volume in drive C is WINNTBOOT
Volume Serial Number is 2762-1B02
Directory of C:\HOME\rickt\Thinkpad Stuff
10/21/96 11:18p 1,025,663 uttpgwnt.exe
10/21/96 09:14p 839,041 mwavent1.exe
10/21/96 09:35p 1,126,205 mwavent2.exe
10/28/96 09:05a 1,028,793 vf75xwnt.exe
4 File(s) 4,019,702 bytes
176,357,376 bytes free
C:\HOME\rickt\Thinkpad Stuff>vf75xwnt
Usage : OS2 /P <full path> /C <original CommandLine>
What does this mean? What are the /P and /C switches? How do I extract this
damn file? Goddamnit! Why can't I get a straight answer from IBM
support!!! ARGH!
