Re: Re[2]: Where to get NT4.0 gfx WD90C24A driver?

The filename is TGIUL40.SYS which is in drvlib\video\trident directory.
The proper way to install this is to have WinNT look at the directory
when you change your video driver. This driver will allow you to run at
32K or 64K colors in 800x600 mode.

     John,

Could you let me know the name of the driver file for the 760ELD you

found on the NT 4.0 CD? I need it too. Thanks.

Have you looked in the drvlib\video on the NT 4.0 CD? That's where I got
the driver for my 760ELD so it could use 800x600x64k in NT4.0.

Hi folks,

Y'all know the story - I installed NT4.0 on my Thinkpad 755CX - all is
going very well. Apart from the GFX situation... :( Under Win95, I
successfully ran 800x600x16-bit colour, but the best I can get under
NT4.0
is 800x600x8-bit - and it's killing me. I *know* the GFX card can go up
to
16-bit colour at 800x600 and I have searched the Net exhaustively trying
to
find a driver... Might anyone know of somewhere I can get said driver and

apease my web-graphic building pains?

I know it's a Stinkpad, but surely any Western Digital 90C24A driver will

do? Help! Does *ANYONE* on the list have NT4.0 going at 800x600x16-bit on

ANY of their Thinkpads???
