I run XFree86 3.1.2G on a 760L with RedHat 4.0 (installed over NFS
using an 3Com PCMCIA NIC) and love it.  My screen is only 10.4" but I
don't mind.  

All I can say is I wish I had a Linux utility to configure the
"features;" as I have a minimum FAT partition for this purpose.
