760CD Memory - it works!
A followup on my purchase of memory:
Got home last night and the 16MB memory DIMM was here. It appears
to be well made and even had a sticker stating that it was
equivalent to IBM part # 92G7316. The chip number ended in "-60",
which I assume means 60ns memory.
Although I ordered it from CMS (352) 726-7700, it was actually
shipped from TechWorks in Austin, TX. Rick at CMS called this
"the factory". For comparison purposes, it was $154.65 + $12.00
shipping.
...and it works. It passed the internal diagnostics, IBM's external
diagnostics, and NU V8 diagnostics...and Warp V3 seems to be happy
with it, too. Now on to the Warp V4 upgrade!
