755cx power adapter question

I'm using the adapter that hangs from the wall by a short IEC
cord, that ends with the big weird ugly rectangular plug that
plugs into the back of the thinkpad.  Since I often use the thinkpad
while sitting in bed, I tend to bang or snag that plug sometimes
when I move the computer, because it sticks out the back of
the computer so unnecessarily far.  Is another adapter available
that has a smaller plug?  That big plug is an awful kludge.
