Dock II with ISA card and 2nd IDE drive

Hello,
I have a TP 760C with a 1.08 gb drive, a dock II with an ethernet card,
scsi drive and scsi cdr. I wanted to be able to produce cd's with this
combination, so I purchased another 1.08gb drive and drive holder for the
multibay. When I installed this, it takes over the irq15, which the
ethernet card had allocated, so I changed the irq on the ethernet to 9.
WITHOUT enabling the drive in the multibay, everything works. WITH the
drive enabled in the multibay, the drive works but not if the dock is
connected. The machine will not run properly if connected to the dock
with the 2nd drive. Does anyone recall anything about the irq 15 with
respect to the dock? Any solutions? I am not using any pcmcia cards in
this configuration to avoid irq 15 problems, as stated in the manual.
Other info that may be useful:
I cannot get windows to recognize the drive as other than 'removable'. If
the drive is 'removable', my cdr software will not copy from it.

Any help would be appreciated.
