Audio on Thinkpad
Hi I'm new to the list and own a ThinkPad 755C with 20Mb RAM and 340Mb
H/D which I use mainly for MIDI sequencing (via an external MIDI
interface) and the occasional game.
I am now trying to get the internal sound card to work in full-duplex
mode which it refuses to do with the most recent drivers (v1.4) from the
ibm BBS. However I seem to remember that I could record and play at the
same time with the old drivers from crystal semiconductors.
Does anyone have these old drivers as neither IBM or crystal will
provide them. They came preinstalled on the 360/750/755c/cs and I think
are called:
cs48BA11.386
cs48BA11.drv
cs48BA11.vxd
bwcc.dll
various applets.exe
If anyone could email these file to me I would be most grateful. In
return I can provide the recent drivers which will give full sound and
MIDI support under windows95 and dos which means at last you can play
doom with full sound on a non-mwave ThinkPad.
While I'm here has anyone managed to get the Volume control to work
under win95?
Thanks in advance
