By "response time" I assume you mean whole system (and not just CPU
measures like MIPS or dhrystones or whetstones, the kind of measures
used by Landmark and Norton); do you have any
benchmark results supporting this? (EG, before-and-after scores on the
Ziff-Davis Winstone test.) I know that the AMD586 does really well on
Landmark and Norton, but haven't seen any *useful* comparisons on the
701.
