Abstract
     
Effective January 9, 1997, IBM will withdraw from marketing the 
products listed in the Product Withdrawals section.  After 
January 9, 1997, you can no longer obtain these products directly
from IBM.  The products, however, can be obtained on an as-available 
basis through IBM authorized remarketers with an approved value add 
and/or IBM Authorized Personal Computer Dealers.
     
Affected Product Information:  The machine types 2625, 2640, 9546, 
and 9547 are affected by this announcement.  Refer to the Product 
Withdrawals section for applicable models.
