There seems to be some confusion between the Brightness versus the Contrast settings on a 701C. To clarify: Brightness, (Fn plus Home and End keys) *should* have at least some effect on the appearance of the screen, although the extent of change is minor. Contrast, (Fn plus Insert and Delete keys) will not affect the TFT screen of the 701C, but is a control for the dual scan 701CS. Regards, Howard Simson P.O.
