As the recent discussion showed, the integrated SCSI chip
in the old Dock I seems to perform very poorly. Now - what
would you recommend? Should I buy a SCSI disk and use
the ISA slot for an Adapatec 15xx or would I be better off
buying a fast EIDE drive?
Thanks,
Stefan Tilkov
BTW: Does anyone have the part number(s) of the IBM
kits needed for installing a SCSI and/or IDE drive? What
restrictions are there for the disks (e.g. height?)
I'm still waiting for my Dock I but I don't want to have it
sitting on my desk for months while I wait for some
stupid $2 part.
