Re: THINKPAD 755 CX



Jeff,

Personally, I have the 755CX with the MWave chip.  Since I bought the Thinkpad 
with the option installed, I cannot give advice on the procedure and whether or 
not the installation is easy or difficult.

However, I can comment that the MWave chip is a great technology as it is 
software upgradeable (14.4 -> 28.8 -> 33.6) and provides all the audio / comm 
functionality that I need.  The best part is that it doesn't use up a PC Card 
slot.

My advice is that if you can still get one for a reasonable price, do it.  My 
comm connections are reliable and very stable.
