Keyboard errors

Hello Fellow Thinkpaders:

Stuff: TP 750C. 20megs.

I have an ERROR 08603 when I plug a keyboard into the 
keyboard / mouse port and the computer stops.

anyone know or can tell me what 8603 error is? This did work once upon a
time. And the DOCK I Connections work fine.
