I know this is not a Win95 forum, but I have a question. I recently
purchased a 2.1 Gb drive for my thinpad. I would like to set it up for
dual boot w/Win95 on one partiion and OS/2 on the other. No problem.
I would however, like to preserve my existing installation of Win95. I
have finally got the computer configured the way I want it. I tried
dumping the contents of my old drive on my docking station and back onto
the new drive. The problem is the Win95 somehow knows that I have changed
hard drives and reconfigures the desktop, and some of the configuration.
Is there anyway to out smart it? Surely, there must be a way to backup
and restore Win95 into a different drive without having to start all over.
Any help would be appreciated.
