Re: Introduction, Display & Ethernet question...

I've had IBM and 3Com with virtually no problems. With Wind95 you
shouldn't have a problem with either one. If you're thinking of Linux or
Solaris later on (don't laugh, I run both as well as OS/2 on separate disks
on the same TP you have 'cept I have 40M) you'll want to go with the 3Com
card ...

Subject: Introduction, Display & Ethernet question...

Greetings all. I've recently become the (proud?) owner of a 755cx. It
has:

Win95 (Mixed blessing, eh?)
800x600 display
MWave DSP
24M RAM
810M HD
and a borrowed PCMCIA ethernet card.

End of intro. ;)

The questions:

I'm looking for opinions of PCMCIA 10Base-T ethernet cards. Speed, power
use, basic quality, etc. What do you seasoned TP veterans recommend?

Also, I'm looking to have a full screen DOS session use the whole display.
Particularly would be nice if 320x200 & 640x400/480 games could use the
whole display (or at least more of it!) Is this possible? If so, what's
the solution?
