Well the 'Why' has already been answered. My suggestion to fix the problem
would be to create a small FAT partition before the FAT32 partition, where
the hibernate function can do its thing... I can't remember how big this
should be... I think it's directly related to the RAM you have in your machine.

I'm running Win95 OSR2 with the drive formatted with FAT32.  I cannot
create a hibernation file, I get the (usual) highly descriptive error
message "error creating hibernation file".  Is this because of FAT32?  If
so, when is IBM going to fix it (or are they?  I can't see them not, but
stranger things have happened...)  If it's not a FAT32 problem, any ideas
what I can do to fix it?
