All this talk is pushing me to tumble to w95.  Two questions if you don't mind:

You mentioned using the port replicator for the cd -are the pc card types
better, worse or same?  And if I have to (should) buy one of these cd boxes
of either type what is the threshold of reasonably usable speed 2x, 4x, higher?

Oh, a third question,  ARE there compromises with 701 operation after W95
installation by someone who doesn't know a FAT partition from a skinny one
or for that matter what partitioning is and about?
