If you can network to a desktop using a pcmcia network card, just copy the
win95 directory to your 701 hard drive.  Another option is to use a zip
drive.  Attach the zip drive to the desktop with the cd rom, copy the win95
directory and then attach the zip to your 701 and copy the directory there.
 I had a 701 for a short time and did the win 95 install by copying the cd
files to a pcmcia hard drive and then inserted the drive into the 701 and
ran the install off the pcmcia drive.  It doesn't matter how you get the
files off the cdrom onto your hard drive, laplink or tranxit or whatever
the Thinkpad ships with will do.  It is about 32mb of files.
