Try something like this - start whatever comm program, connect
via the modem and then after it's all running ready to use start
a MIDI program. This works for me, in fact pretty well. I can't
remember what www sites sent MIDI but this works a lot better, I
can leave the Super Jam demo playing and go use the modem without
any apparent problem.

Maybe having the modem actually running prevents it from getting
unloaded/replaced by the MWave MIDI functions? To be sure this is
all with V2.22 of the MWave software and Win 3.11.
