This may seen a rather stupid question to the initiated but I request that someone may enighten me. I have a Thinkpad 760 LD with out manuals which I intent to order. Until this rrives perhaps someone can help. I have been examining the rear ports of the machine this afternoon and wish to know what they all are. I believe (from right to lft as I look at the machine from the rear are:- 1. serial; 2. parrallel; 3. video; 4. expansion and 5. (above expansion) unknown. There appears to be a position to the left of this which is blanked off. On examination of the drop down flap the blanked off plate appears to be for a midi/something. The unknown one shows a line with a broader part in the middle. Is this a modem? I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help. If it is a modem, how can I identify what is connected and what kind of leads would I need to purchase in order to use it. Many thanks. Philip For file attachments please e-mail first. --
