The lack of secondary cache does hurt the 365 a lot in processor
intensive applications, esp games.  If you have the money, I'd go for a
model from the 760 range.  Linux is well supported, don't know about
Solaris.

The 760 range does offer a 640x480 screen expansion (I believe its
called presentation mode), but the results can be blocky at times.  Best
to try the games you wish to play before you buy.
