Well, I'm finally going to take the plunge and get a PCMCIA SCSI card for my TP701. I'll be running it predominantly under Linux. I'll probably start off with a CD-ROM and Zip drives. Later I'll probably get a scanner and maybe some other SCSI toys. Can anyone folks recommend/bad-mouth the following? APA-1450A SLIMSCSI FSCSI2 PCMCIA FRMVBLE APA-1460A-2 FSCSI2 PCMCIA KIT (From Adaptec's description, it looks like the former only supports one device while the latter daisychains, although how that is I don't know.) Panasonic KXL-D740 and KXL-D745 4X CD-Rom + PCMCIA SCSI2 KXL-783A 8X PORTABLE CDROM PC 1200KB 180MS SCSI2 PCMCIA (What adapter do these include and how well does it work with other SCSI devices?) Also, a friend of mine showed me the following site which I've been using to search for products.
