Re: PCMCIA Ethernet on 760ED
I know which one is available and how to get a good deal on it. Check out
http://www.xircom.com/HotStuff/usoffer.html to buy either a PC Card or
Cardbus version for only $99. As far as I know, only Xircom has a 10/100
PCMCIA version available. Word is that Intel and 3Com will soon offer one,
but not yet.
One word of caution. I bought the Cardbus version and Xircom has not been
able to get it working with my TP760E and Win95 OSR2. They claim they are
working on it, so I am going to wait.
They have proprietary Cardbus adapters that wont allow you to use other PC
Cards if you install them. These apparently work. You might play it safe
and get the PC Card version.
