Well, I bought a nice little Philips CDD2000 recordble CDROM drive
to hang off my Adaptec Slim SCSI card. It works just fine. On the
Windows 95 system I can easily do double speed writes. On DOS, due
to severe memory constraints after loading all the PCMCIA drivers
etc, the software selects the minimum single speed write mode. I've
written several disks using Corel (Adaptec) CD Creator.
Does anyone have any recommendations about nice software to use for
writing CDROMs on IBM Thinkpads and/or Macintosh systems?
Thanks, AJ Annala
