I was fooling around with the phone program a couple weeks ago
on my 755.  I noticed it likes to hang when it starts, but then
if I started a second copy and exited it then the first one
would start running - after that it works ok and I can talk ok
with the modem at 28k8, using the half-duplex talk mode.  I
wrote to their support with a very thorough description of the
problem but I never got a rational answer back - it was like
they didn't read 99% of my letters (went through this twice).
Anyway I'll be trying this again later in the week - I could
save a ton of money if the darn thing would just start up and
go without any wierdness...
