Marshall
I have never heard of that software, but I have tried others that do the
same..... I was not impressed.... We are a few years out from that....
the
problem with voice recognition is that it takes tremendous amount of CPU
time,
so it would LAG on the conversions, which would force you to talk slower
than
you normally would...... And sometimes have to stop and wait for it to
finish
the conversions. We need faster processors..... 500Mhz+ CPUs should be
out in
1999 with the Merced Processor from Intel.... Going to be a true 64-bit
(RISC)
CPU, not these plain old 32-bit (CISC) CPUs. It will also be backward x86
compatible. Which means that all our old software will still work.....
Microsoft is also working on a 64bit version NT to be released at the
same
time.
