Re: TP 701 battery gauge
I've had what would appear to be the same problem and IBM has
replaced the NiMH battery twice, maybe thrice - I don't recall at
the moment. The problem is each time I call I get a different rep.
and frequently a different answer for the same problem and I recall
this happening with the battery problem. I would suggest you call
again and see if you get a different reply. BTW, IBM only warrants
the battery for 1 year ( it's the computer sans battery that
has 3 years, not to mention 90 days for OS help).
