win95 on TP 701c

I am in the process of setting up an IBM ThinkPad 701 with win95.
 Looking for any advice from people who have done this.  Thus far
I have formated the drive and performed teh installation, but now
themachine hangs on the startup screen.  I have seen on the
factory setup machines a PCMCIA Director.  Where can I find this?
 Any help grewtly appreciated.
