Cable Internet & Thinkpads

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using cable
Internet (more specifically the @Home service) and their Thinkpad.  I
have a 760ED and am getting cable Internet access installed today and I
am considering hooking the 760 up to my cable modem, which I think, will
be a Motorola.  A standard (PCMCIA)10mbit Ethernet card will connect my
PC to the modem.
