It sounds like you really need an expanda-port. Is there not one available
for the TP701? There are two models for the TP755 (of which I have both).
The one at work has PS/2 port, 2 serial ports, parallel port, monitor, and
2 PCMCIA slots. I believe it was about $300 Cdn two years ago. The one I
use at home has a serial, parallel, monitor and two ports for the keyboard
and mouse. I believe it was about $150 Cdn. It sounds like the latter
would be great for you if such an animal exists.
These are great for simply snapping into all the peripherals either at work
or at home.
