Re: external modem help



Peter,

Go to the "Configuration Utility" and turn off the "modem power" (page 1) then on page four 
go to "User Port Settings" an press Enter you can disable the modem port, this will allow 
you to use the modem on your serial port.  I did this when my internal modem died a few 
months ago (it's fixed now although I miss speed of the 28.8 I was using.
